 Fuego Digital Media has an immediate need for experienced quality assurance specialists in our Doha, Qatar location. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a QA environment. He or she will work closely with the software development team to test new software and systems and will be responsible for doing component and systems testing including set up and configuration of the test environment, document test procedures, issues tracking, designing and building of automated test programs, test scripts, and test harnesses.​

Job Description:  

The Software QA Specialist is accountable for executing test activities within the constraints of the Fuego Digital Media product delivery roadmap.

This position encompasses:

  • Leading the planning and implementation of the testing/quality strategy for the Fuego CMS and other projects.  
  • Execution of manual and automated test scripts covering.
  • Product installation and configutation (Web applications).
  • Performance and scalability (stress) testing.
  • UI, usability and localization testing.
  • Functionality and regression testing.
  • Documentation testing.
  • Identification, investigation, reporting and tracking bugs to closure.
  • Configuration of software and deployment platforms as required by test plans.  
  • Communication with software development and technical support staff in providing additional assistance in recreating issues  
  • Working in a deadline driven environment collaboratively with the rest of the team through every step of the software development process.
  • Providing progress reports on all assigned tasks as requested.

Strong analytical and technical skills are considered assets.
